Taryn Ash

Taryn Ash has a 25-year career in learning, coaching, and organizational transformation, helping over 50 corporations and government bodies worldwide become more sustainable.

Taryn’s career has focused on professional development and adult learning, initially as a lecturer of interpersonal and intercultural communication, then as an award-winning instructional designer, management and training consultant, public speaking and executive leadership coach. She has held senior management roles as a leader and developer of training teams and run her own global talent development consultancy. Taryn has designed and implemented local, regional and global upskilling programs for government bodies and multinational organizations. She has also developed policies to foster diversity and inclusion, company-wide mentoring strategies designed to attract and retain valued staff, and award-winning global sales development programs.

Taryn has given numerous papers at regional and international conferences on topics related to leadership and self-management, as well as on talent development initiatives at a national level. Her work has taken her around the world.

She has an MBA from the University of Nottingham, UK; is a certified leadership coach by Rice University, USA, and has also formally studied business and intercultural communication in Canada, Japan and China.

Originally from Canada, Taryn lives between Dubai and France.

Lori Figueiredo has over 30 years of experience in organizational psychology and performance,, working with over 50 companies in more than 100 countries. Her award-winning SYZYGY® Design Methodology has been used worldwide to align organizations’ people, purposes, and performance.

Her clients include Singapore Airlines, DBS Bank, KFC, Nokia, and Dell. Lori leverages digital technology, AI and human psychology for large-scale transformations and currently lives between Dubai, London, and South Africa.

Rangina Hamidi

Ms Hamidi was Afghanistan’s most recent Education Minister. Today, she is an Afghan-American writer, educator, social entrepreneur, and world-renowned advocate for female empowerment and development.

American educated, she is a professor of practice at the prestigous Thunderbird Business School of Global Management and a celebrated public speaker.

Katrin Fakiri

Ms. Katrin Fakiri is a highly experienced specialist in Board Governance and leadership with an outstanding career spanning over 25 years across three continents, from Silicon Valley to Afghanistan.

She served on the Central Bank of Afghanistan’s Board of Directors for five years and is currently a Non-Executive Director on the board of Harakat, an organization that is dedicated to fostering private sector growth. Ms. Fakiri was a corporate governance consultant and provided training and mentorship to more than 20 financial institutions’ boards of directors and CEOs across the African continent. She founded a pioneering microfinance institution for women and two consulting companies focusing on international development and board governance. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from San Jose State University and a master’s in business administration from Barcelona Executive Business School.

Safyia Mukhtar Alshibani

Dr. Safiya Mukhtar Alshibani is an Assistant Professor at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (PNU) and Programme Director of the BSc in Business Administration. She holds an MSc in Strategic Management and Innovation and a PhD in Entrepreneurship from The University of Western Australia.

Her insights have been widely published, and she regularly participates in international conferences.  Dr. Alshibani is highly skilled in intercultural communication, particularly in creating synergies between Saudi and international business professionals.

Today, her focus is on expanding health literacy and wellness life skills in organizations and families around the world.  She speaks regularly on topics related to wellness to enhance workplace performance.

Suzanne Smith

Suzanne Smith has had an extensive career in development, spanning close to three decades across regions like Niger, Mozambique, Bangladesh, Tibet, Afghanistan and Eastern Europe. Today, she is an accredited facilitator and a globally recognized advocate for female education and empowerment.

 Currently, she supports Ukrainian refugees, Afghan resettlement, health and development efforts, and founded Accountable Partners©, a social enterprise promoting transparent accounting for aid recipients
